So i was just reminiscing about the time I climbed out to the tip of a breakwater on the Rhine when I was in Dusseldorf… and some interference kicked in.

It was an art history lecture on kitsch and camp.

The Admiral is looking for a House to rent

I saw this scene on the way to school one day, just as the bus was turning… and somehow it stuck so much that i had to draw it. There’s a story behind this, I’m sure, but I think I’ll have to stare at it a little longer. 

“The Admiral is looking for a House to rent” is a line from one of the many absurd poems that came out of the Dada period, and the line just kept repeating itself in my head as I was drawing it.
